1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the LGIDTECH Mi.Light 8-Zone RGB+CCT Remote Control (Model FUT089). This remote is designed for controlling compatible Mi.Light RGB+CCT LED lighting products, offering comprehensive control over color, color temperature, brightness, and saturation across up to eight independent zones.

2. Product Features

• 8-Zone Control: Independently manage up to eight lighting zones.
• RGB+CCT Control: Full spectrum color (RGB) and adjustable color temperature (CCT) from warm white to cool white.
• Brightness Dimming: Precise brightness adjustment from 0.1% to 100%.
• Saturation Adjustment: Control the intensity of colors.
• 2.4GHz RF Technology: Provides a working distance of up to 30 meters (98 feet).

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Please ensure correct polarity during installation.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Use a slotted screwdriver to gently open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, observing the positive (+) and negative (-) markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

3.2 Linking/Pairing with Lights

To control your Mi.Light RGB+CCT LED products, the remote must be linked to them. Follow these steps for each light or zone you wish to control:

1. Ensure the light fixture you want to link is powered off.
2. Power on the light fixture.
3. Within 3 seconds of powering on the light, press the "Zone ON" (I) key on the remote control three times. The "Zone ON" key corresponds to the specific zone (1-8) you intend to link the light to.
4. The light will blink three times, indicating successful linking.
5. Repeat this process for any other lights or zones you wish to link.

4. Operating Instructions

The remote control features a full touch screen design for intuitive operation. Refer to the diagram below for button identification.

4.1 Basic Controls

• Master ON (ON): Turns on all linked lights.
• Master OFF (OFF): Turns off all linked lights.
• White Light (W): Activates pure white light mode.
• Zone ON (I 1-8): Turns on the selected zone. Used for linking.
• Zone OFF (O 1-8): Turns off the selected zone.

4.2 Color and Color Temperature Adjustment

• Color Ring: Touch the color ring to select any of 16 million colors.
• Saturation / CCT Control: Slide your finger along this bar to adjust color saturation (when in RGB mode) or color temperature (when in white light mode).

4.3 Brightness Dimming

• Brightness Dimming Bar: Slide your finger along this bar to adjust the light brightness from 0.1% to 100%.

4.4 Zone Control

The remote allows independent control of up to 8 zones. To select a zone, press the corresponding "Zone ON" (I) button (e.g., I 1 for Zone 1). Once a zone is selected, all subsequent color, brightness, and mode adjustments will apply only to that zone.

4.5 Mode Selection

• Mode (M): Press this button to cycle through various dynamic lighting modes.
• Speed +/- (S-, S+): Adjust the speed of the selected dynamic mode.

5. Maintenance

• Keep the remote control dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
• Clean the remote with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• If the remote will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
• Avoid dropping the remote control or subjecting it to strong impacts.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Remote Not Responding

• Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
• Range: Confirm the remote is within the 30-meter operating range of the light fixture.
• Obstructions: Minimize physical obstructions between the remote and the light.

6.2 Light Not Linking

• Timing: Ensure the "Zone ON" button is pressed three times within 3 seconds of powering on the light.
• Compatibility: Verify that your light fixture is compatible with this remote control. This remote works with the newest version series products (e.g., ASIN B074PTC165, B06XT4BLHD, B01N7NR3JC, B01MZ3281M, B074LG67TG). It is not compatible with older versions or models such as FUT035, FUT036, FUT037, FUT038, FUT039, FUT015, or 8W RGB+CCT bulbs.
• Power Cycle: Try turning the light off and on again before attempting to link.

• FUT037 RGB LED strip controller.
• FUT038 RGBW LED strip controller.
• FUT039 RGB+CCT LED strip controller.
• FUT015 LED products.
