4.3 Adding Dishwasher Salt (if applicable)
If your water is hard, the dishwasher may have a salt dispenser. Check the salt indicator light and refill with dishwasher salt as needed to prevent limescale buildup.

Wipe the exterior of the dishwasher with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5. Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, check the following common issues and their solutions.
- Dishwasher does not start: Ensure the power cord is plugged in, the door is fully closed, and the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Dishes are not clean: Check if spray arms are blocked, filters are clean, and enough detergent is used. Ensure dishes are loaded correctly.
- Water not draining: Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Clean the filter system.
- Excessive foam: Ensure you are using only dishwasher detergent, not hand dish soap.
- White spots on dishes: This may indicate a need for more rinse aid or dishwasher salt (if applicable).
