Operating Instructions

The Sensor Brite light operates automatically based on ambient light and motion detection:

  • Automatic Activation: The built-in light sensor ensures the unit only activates in dark environments. When sufficient ambient light is present, the unit will remain off to conserve battery power.
  • Motion Detection: Upon detecting movement within its 10-foot range and 120-degree beam spread in a dark setting, the LED lights will illuminate.
  • Automatic Shut-off: If no further motion is detected for approximately 30 seconds, the lights will automatically turn off.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: When the light output diminishes or the unit stops responding, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
  • Sensor Clarity: Ensure the motion sensor lens is clean and unobstructed for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on.1. Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed.
2. Ambient light is too bright.
3. Motion sensor is obstructed or out of range.
1. Replace batteries with new AAA batteries and check polarity.
2. Test the light in a completely dark environment.
3. Ensure the sensor is clean and clear, and motion occurs within 10 feet.
Light stays on continuously.1. Continuous motion detected.
2. Unit is in a constantly dark area with minor, frequent disturbances.
1. Ensure no continuous movement is within the sensor's range.
2. Relocate the unit to an area with less frequent activity or where it is not constantly triggered.
Light is dim.Low battery power.Replace batteries with new AAA batteries.
