3. Connecting the Receiver to an Audio System
The DW-22 receiver offers two output options:
- Mixed 1/4" Output: Use the supplied 1/4" audio cable to connect the MIX OUT jack on the receiver's rear panel to an input on your amplifier, mixer, or karaoke system. This output combines both microphone signals.
- Individual XLR Outputs: For separate control of each microphone, use two XLR cables (not included) to connect the A-BALANCED OUT and B-BALANCED OUT jacks to individual inputs on a mixing board.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On Microphones
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the body of each handheld microphone. Slide the switch to the "ON" position. The microphone's indicator light will illuminate, and the corresponding channel (CH A or CH B) on the receiver's display will show RF (Radio Frequency) signal reception.

2. Adjusting Volume
- Receiver Volume Knobs: Use the VOL-A and VOL-B knobs on the front of the receiver to adjust the output level of each microphone channel. These controls are active for both the mixed 1/4" output and the individual XLR outputs.
- External Mixer/Amplifier: If using individual XLR outputs, fine-tune the volume for each microphone using the input controls on your external mixing board or amplifier.
3. Optimal Performance
- Maintain a clear line of sight between the microphones and the receiver for best performance. The system has an extended operating range of up to 300 feet line-of-sight.
- Avoid placing the receiver near large metal objects or other wireless devices that could potentially cause interference, although the digital transmission minimizes this risk.
- The DW-22 system operates on fixed UHF frequencies. It is not possible to change the operating frequencies of this system.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the receiver and microphones. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace microphone batteries when the indicator light on the microphone dims or when audio performance degrades. Always use fresh AA alkaline batteries.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the microphones and store the system in a cool, dry place.
