5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Taking a Measurement

1. Point the infrared sensor towards the surface you wish to measure. The laser pointer will indicate the center of the measurement area.
2. Press and hold the trigger. The temperature reading will appear on the LCD display.
3. Release the trigger to hold the reading on the display. The "HOLD" indicator will appear.
4. For continuous measurement, keep the trigger pressed.

6.2 Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, simply press the "°C/°F" button located below the display. The unit on the display will change accordingly.
