5. Setup
5.1. Battery Installation
- Align the battery pack with the battery compartment on the rear of the transceiver.
- Slide the battery pack into place until it clicks securely.
- Ensure the battery release latch is engaged.
5.2. Charging the Battery
- Connect the Micro USB cable to the charging terminal on the transceiver.
- Plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
- To power on, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click.
- To power off, rotate the Power/Volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
6.2. Volume Adjustment
- Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
6.3. Channel Selection
- Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons to select the desired channel (CH01-CH35).
- The selected channel number will be displayed on the LCD screen.
6.4. Transmission (PTT)
- Press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button on the side of the transceiver.
- Speak clearly into the microphone.
- Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and return to receive mode.

- When not transmitting, the transceiver is in receive mode. Audio will be heard through the speaker when a signal is received on the selected channel.
