Product Overview

The MagniPros LED Illuminated Headband Magnifier Visor is designed to provide hands-free magnification for various detailed tasks. It features two powerful LED lights and comes with five interchangeable optical-grade lenses, offering magnification powers of 1X, 1.5X, 2X, 2.5X, and 3.5X. Setup Instructions

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the top of the headband frame.
2. Gently press the tab and slide open the battery cover.
3. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Attaching Lenses

1. Select the desired magnification lens (1X, 1.5X, 2X, 2.5X, or 3.5X).
2. Align the lens with the slot on the magnifier frame.
3. Gently slide the lens into the slot until it clicks into place.
4. To remove, press the release button and slide the lens out.

3. Wearing Modes (Glasses or Headband)

• Glasses Mode: The magnifier comes pre-assembled with temple arms for wearing like regular glasses.
• Headband Mode: To switch to headband mode, gently detach the temple arms by pressing the release buttons. Attach the adjustable head strap to the corresponding slots on the frame. Adjust the strap for a secure and comfortable fit around your head.

Operating Instructions

1. Using the LED Lights

• Press the power button located on the top of the frame to turn the LED lights ON or OFF.
• The LED light module can be rotated up to 45 degrees to direct illumination precisely onto your viewing area.

2. Adjusting for Optimal View

• Once a lens is attached, you can adjust its angle relative to your eyes for the clearest view.
• The entire lens assembly can also be moved forward or backward to fine-tune the focal distance.
• For users wearing prescription glasses, the magnifier is designed to be worn over them. Adjust the magnifier's position to ensure both your prescription glasses and the magnifier lenses are comfortable and provide optimal clarity.

Maintenance

• Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided microfiber cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the optical surfaces.
• Battery Replacement: When the LED lights dim or stop working, replace the 3 AAA batteries in the compartment as described in the Setup section.
• Storage: Store the unused lenses in their protective case to prevent scratches and dust accumulation. Keep the magnifier in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

• LED Lights Not Working:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries.
  • Ensure the battery compartment cover is securely closed.
• Blurred Vision / Difficulty Focusing:
  • Ensure the selected lens is clean and free of smudges or dust.
  • Adjust the angle of the lens and the distance of the lens assembly from your eyes until the image is clear.
  • Try a different magnification lens that is more suitable for your task and working distance.
• Magnifier Feels Unstable:
  • If using the temple arms, ensure they are fully extended and seated comfortably.
  • If using the head strap, adjust it snugly around your head to prevent slipping.
  • The non-slip nose pads and forehead padding are designed for stability; ensure they are positioned correctly.
