5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Tools and Materials Required (Not Included)

• Screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Electrical tape
• Mounting plate with 1/2" NPT threaded hole (if not already present)

5.2 Installation Steps

1. Power Disconnection: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse controlling the power to the installation area and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting Surface: The fixture can be mounted on a wall or pole. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and capable of supporting the fixture's weight. If a mounting plate is not present, install one with a 1/2" NPT threaded hole.
3. Wiring Connection:

   • Connect the green wire from the fixture to the Ground wire from your power supply.

   Secure all connections with appropriate wire nuts and electrical tape. Ensure no bare wires are exposed.

4. Attach Fixture: Thread the knuckle mount of the flood light into the 1/2" NPT threaded hole of the mounting plate. Tighten securely.
5. Adjust Angle: Loosen the adjustment screw on the knuckle mount to set the desired lighting angle. Once positioned, tighten the screw firmly to secure the fixture.
6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.
