- Insert the battery into the charger, ensuring a secure connection.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- Allow the battery to charge completely. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charging status.
- Once charged, remove the battery from the charger and insert it into the chainsaw until it clicks into place.

2. Chain and Bar Assembly
The chainsaw features tool-free chain changes for convenience. Always wear protective gloves when handling the chain and bar.
- Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw.
- Loosen the chain tensioning knob and remove the side cover.
- Carefully place the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
- Reattach the side cover and hand-tighten the tensioning knob.
- Adjust chain tension as described in the Maintenance section.
3. Auto-Oiling System
The chainsaw is equipped with an auto-oiling system that lubricates the guide bar and chain during operation. This system helps to prolong the life of the blade and the saw.
- Locate the oil reservoir cap.
- Fill the reservoir with appropriate bar and chain oil. Do not use motor oil or other lubricants.
- Securely replace the oil reservoir cap.

Operating the Chainsaw
1. Safety Precautions
Always prioritize safety when operating a chainsaw. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Ensure a clear work area and be aware of your surroundings.
2. Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Engage the safety lock-off button, then squeeze the trigger to start the chain.
3. Cutting Techniques
The 16-inch chain runs at speeds of up to 49 feet per second, providing efficient cutting. Always maintain a firm grip and stable footing. Avoid cutting above shoulder height. For larger limbs or trees, plan your cuts carefully to prevent kickback and ensure the wood falls safely.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw.
1. Chain Tensioning
Proper chain tension is crucial. A chain that is too loose can derail, and a chain that is too tight can cause excessive wear and damage. Adjust the chain tensioning knob until the chain is snug against the guide bar but can still be pulled freely by hand.
2. Cleaning
After each use, remove the battery and clean the chainsaw. Use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the motor housing, chain, and guide bar. Wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth.
3. Bar and Chain Oil
Regularly check the oil level in the auto-oiling system and refill as needed. Use only high-quality bar and chain oil.
Troubleshooting
- Chainsaw does not start: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check that the safety lock-off button is engaged before squeezing the trigger.
- Chain is not cutting efficiently: Check chain tension. Ensure the chain is sharp and free of damage. Verify the oil reservoir is filled.
- Excessive vibration: Inspect the chain and guide bar for damage or improper installation. Ensure all components are securely fastened.
