Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your La-Z-Boy Executive Chair. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent damage.
Step 1: Attach Casters to Base
Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.
Step 2: Insert Gas Lift
Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled chair base. Ensure it is seated firmly.
Step 3: Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat
Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with the provided screws and tighten with the Allen wrench.
Step 4: Attach Armrests to Seat and Backrest
Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat and backrest using the designated screws. Do not fully tighten all screws until the backrest is also aligned and attached to the armrests. The arm pads are pre-attached or can be snapped into place on the armrests.
Step 5: Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift
Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the tapered end of the gas lift fits securely into the mechanism plate.
