6. Installation Instructions

The Valore 7 shower panel is designed for easy retrofit installation. It connects to your existing shower head spout and hot/cold water lines.

6.1 Pre-Installation

  1. Turn off Water Supply: Locate and turn off the main water supply to your bathroom or entire home.
  2. Remove Existing Fixtures: Carefully remove your current shower head and any other fixtures that will be replaced by the shower panel.
  3. Inspect Plumbing: Ensure your existing hot and cold water lines are accessible and in good condition. This panel is designed for systems with existing hot and cold faucets.
  4. Water-Saving Regulator: If your water pressure is naturally low, consider not installing any water-saving regulator that may be included with the panel, as it can further reduce flow. If you use the hang-on to the shower pipe method, access to the regulator may be limited after installation.

6.2 Mounting the Panel

  1. Positioning: Hold the shower panel against the wall in the desired position. Mark the locations for mounting brackets. Ensure the panel is level.
  2. Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Insert wall anchors if necessary.
  3. Secure Brackets: Attach the mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws.
  4. Panel Attachment: The unit may include double-sided tape for securing it to the wall. Once applied, repositioning is difficult without replacing the tape. Carefully align and press the panel onto the brackets and tape.

6.3 Connecting Water Lines

  1. Connect Hoses: Attach the flexible hot and cold water supply hoses from the shower panel to your existing hot and cold water outlets. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  2. Handheld Shower: Connect the handheld shower hose to its designated outlet on the panel.
  3. Turn on Water: Slowly turn the main water supply back on and check for any leaks. Tighten connections as needed.
  4. Seal Edges (Optional but Recommended): Apply a bead of clear silicone caulk along the sides of the shower panel where it meets the tile to create a seal and prevent water intrusion.

Note: This shower panel does not include a temperature/volume control valve. Your existing shower valve will control water temperature and flow.

7. Operating Instructions

The Valore 7 shower panel features a 3-way diverter to control water flow to different functions.

7.1 Water Flow Control

Use your existing shower's hot and cold water handles to adjust the desired water temperature and overall flow rate.

7.2 Selecting Spray Modes

The panel has a control knob or lever to switch between the three spray modes:

  • Rain Shower: Provides a wide, gentle rainfall-like spray from the overhead shower head.
  • Valore 7 Shower Panel with Rain Shower Function

Image 7.1: Valore 7 Shower Panel demonstrating the rain shower function.

  • Body Jets: Delivers targeted streams of water from the integrated body massage jets.
  • Valore 7 Shower Panel with Body Jets Function

  • Handheld Shower: Directs water flow to the brass shower wand for focused rinsing or cleaning.

Rotate or move the diverter control to select your desired spray function. Only one function can be active at a time.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Cleaning

  • Clean the stainless steel surface regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner.
  • Avoid using abrasive sponges, scouring pads, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch or damage the finish.
  • For hard water spots, use a solution of white vinegar and water, then rinse thoroughly.
  • Periodically clean the nozzles of the shower head and body jets to remove mineral buildup. You can often do this by gently rubbing the rubber nozzles.

8.2 General Care

  • Ensure all connections remain tight to prevent leaks.
  • If any part becomes loose, gently tighten it. Do not overtighten.
