1. Introduction

This document provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Sylvania 14W LED A19 light bulbs. These bulbs are designed to replace traditional 100W incandescent lamps, offering energy efficiency and a long operational life. They emit 1500 lumens of soft white light at a color temperature of 2700K.

The bulbs are non-dimmable and feature a frosted finish. They are suitable for various indoor and outdoor applications, excluding fully enclosed fixtures. Each bulb has an estimated lifespan of 11,000 hours.

2. Safety Information

• These bulbs are non-dimmable. Do not use with dimmer switches.
• Not for use in fully enclosed fixtures. Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent overheating.
• The bulbs are UV, IR, and mercury-free, making them safe for home use.
• Avoid direct exposure to water if used outdoors, unless the fixture is rated for wet locations.
• Always turn off power to the fixture before installing or removing the bulb.
• Do not disassemble or modify the bulb.

3. Installation

1. Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker or wall switch.
2. Allow the old bulb to cool completely before removal.
3. Carefully unscrew the old bulb from the fixture.
4. Gently screw the Sylvania LED A19 bulb into the E26 medium base socket until snug. Do not overtighten.
5. Restore power to the fixture.
6. Turn on the light switch to verify proper operation.

4. Operating Instructions

These Sylvania LED A19 bulbs provide instant illumination with no warm-up time. Upon activation, they immediately deliver full brightness of 1500 lumens with a stable soft white color (2700K).

• Instant On: The bulbs light up immediately when the switch is flipped.
• Non-Dimmable: These bulbs are designed for on/off operation only and are not compatible with dimmer switches.
• Light Appearance: The 2700K soft white light is suitable for creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere in various spaces.

5. Maintenance

Sylvania LED A19 bulbs require minimal maintenance due to their long lifespan. For cleaning, ensure the power is off and the bulb is cool to the touch.

• Wipe the bulb with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the bulb's finish or internal components.

6. Troubleshooting

If your Sylvania LED A19 bulb is not functioning as expected, consider the following common issues:

• Bulb does not light up:
  • Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Check if the bulb is securely screwed into the socket.
  • Verify that the circuit breaker for the fixture has not tripped.
  • Test the bulb in another working fixture to confirm if the bulb or the fixture is faulty.
• Flickering:
  • Confirm that the bulb is not connected to a dimmer switch, as these bulbs are non-dimmable.
  • Ensure the fixture is not fully enclosed, which could lead to overheating and flickering.
