2. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and security of your Yale Assure Lock. Follow the steps below carefully. A detailed installation video is also provided for visual guidance.
Pre-Installation Checks:
- Ensure your door has been prepped according to the specifications listed on the door template included with the lock.
- The cross-bore hole (face bore) must be 2-1/8 inches in diameter.
- The edge-bore hole must be 1 inch in diameter.
- The backset should be 2-3/8 inches or 2-3/4 inches.
