6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Hair Strainer

1. Using the provided lifting hook, carefully insert it into one of the small holes on the grate and lift the entire grate assembly.
2. Once the grate is removed, you will see the hair/debris strainer basket. Lift this basket out of the drain body.
3. Remove any accumulated hair, soap scum, or debris from the strainer basket. You can rinse it under running water.
4. Clean the inside of the drain body as needed, ensuring no large obstructions remain.
5. Place the clean hair strainer back into the drain body.
6. Carefully replace the grate, ensuring it sits flush with the surrounding floor.
