Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kärcher NT 30/1 Tact L vacuum cleaner.

After Each Use:

  • Empty Container: For dry vacuuming, empty the fleece filter bag when full. For wet vacuuming, empty the liquid container immediately after use to prevent odors and bacterial growth.
  • Clean Accessories: Rinse the suction hose, tubes, and nozzles with water if used for wet vacuuming or if visibly dirty. Allow them to air dry completely.
  • Wipe Down Exterior: Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Filter Maintenance:

  • PES Flat Fold Filter: The Tact system automatically cleans the filter during operation. However, for thorough cleaning, the filter can be removed. To remove, unlatch the filter housing and pull out the filter. Tap it gently to dislodge dust or rinse with water if heavily soiled (allow to dry completely before re-inserting for dry vacuuming).
  • Fleece Filter Bag: Replace the fleece filter bag when it is full or when suction performance noticeably decreases during dry vacuuming.

Storage:

  • Store the vacuum cleaner and its accessories in a dry, frost-free location.
  • Utilize the integrated storage options for the suction hose, tubes, and power cable to keep them organized and prevent damage.
