4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• To turn the balance ON, press the ON/OFF button. The display will show a self-test and then settle at 0.00g.
• To turn the balance OFF, press and hold the ON/OFF button until the display turns off.

5.2 Basic Weighing

1. Ensure the balance is powered on and displays 0.00g.
2. Carefully place the item to be weighed onto the center of the weighing platform.
3. Wait for the display to stabilize. The stable weight will be shown.
4. Remove the item from the platform.

5.3 TARE Function

The TARE function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the net weight of the contents is displayed.

1. Place the empty container onto the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to 0.00g.
3. Add the substance to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the substance.
