4.1. Installing a Hard Drive

  1. Gently slide open the enclosure cover to reveal the internal tray.
  2. Carefully slide your 3.5-inch SATA hard drive into the enclosure, ensuring the SATA data and power connectors on the drive align with the corresponding connectors inside the enclosure.

  4. Push the hard drive firmly until it is fully seated and the connectors are securely engaged.

  6. Slide the enclosure cover back into place until it clicks securely.

4.2. Connecting to a Computer

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the enclosure and then plug it into a power outlet.
  2. Connect one end of the USB 3.0 data cable to the USB 3.0 port on the enclosure.

  4. Connect the other end of the USB 3.0 data cable to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer. For optimal performance, use a USB 3.0 port.
  5. Flip the ON/OFF switch on the enclosure to the 'ON' position. The LED indicator will illuminate.

5. Operating the Enclosure

5.1. Power On/Off

Use the ON/OFF switch located on the back of the enclosure to power the device on or off. Always ensure the device is safely ejected from your computer's operating system before powering it off to prevent data corruption.

5.2. Data Transfer

Once connected and recognized by your computer, you can transfer files to and from the hard drive within the enclosure just like any other external storage device. The USB 3.0 interface provides high-speed data transfer rates up to 5Gbps.
