Setup Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. It is recommended to have a second person assist during monitor attachment.

1. Choose Your Mounting Option

The Rocelco R DM2 offers two installation methods: Desk Clamp or Grommet Mount. Select the option best suited for your desk.

Option A: Desk Clamp Mounting

1. Attach the main pole to the desk clamp base using the provided screws and Allen key.
2. Secure the clamp to the edge of your desk. Ensure the desk thickness is within the supported range (up to 3.5 inches).

Option B: Grommet Clamp Mounting

1. Disassemble the desk clamp to separate the threaded rod and top plate.
2. Insert the main pole through the grommet hole in your desk.
3. From underneath the desk, reattach the threaded rod and top plate to secure the pole.

2. Attach Monitor Arms to Pole

Slide the monitor arm assembly onto the main pole. Adjust the height as desired and tighten the locking mechanism.

3. Attach Monitors to Arms

Ensure your monitors have VESA 75x75mm or 100x100mm mounting holes. Attach the VESA plates on the monitor arms to the back of your monitors using the appropriate screws. Make sure they are securely fastened.

Once your monitors are securely mounted, you can adjust them for optimal viewing comfort.

Adjusting Monitors

• Swivel: The monitor arms can swivel 180° at the interface, center pivot, and pole, allowing you to easily share your screen or adjust your viewing angle.
• Tilt: Each monitor can be tilted ±45° to reduce glare and achieve the perfect ergonomic angle.
• Rotation: Monitors can be rotated 360° to switch between landscape (horizontal) and portrait (vertical) orientations.
• Height Adjustment: The height of the monitors can be adjusted along the main pole up to 17.75 inches (45.1 cm) to align with your eye level.

• Monitor is not stable/sags:
  • Ensure all mounting screws for the VESA plate and arm connections are securely tightened.
  • Verify that your monitor's weight does not exceed the maximum capacity of 17.6 lbs (8 kg) per arm.
• Difficulty adjusting swivel/tilt/rotation:
  • Check for any locking screws or knobs on the joints and loosen them slightly to allow for movement. Retighten once the desired position is achieved.
• Mount feels loose on the desk:
  • For clamp mount: Ensure the clamp screw is fully tightened against the desk surface.
  • For grommet mount: Ensure the bottom plate and screw are securely tightened against the underside of the desk.
  • Verify your desk thickness is within the supported range (up to 3.5 inches).
