Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended for this product. Ensure all local plumbing codes are followed. Before starting, turn off the main water supply to your home.

Tools and Materials Required:

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Rough-In Valve: Ensure the existing rough-in valve is properly secured within the wall. This faucet is designed to work with standard Moen valves.
  2. Install the Tub Spout: Apply pipe sealant or Teflon tape to the threads of the tub spout pipe extending from the wall. Thread the tub spout onto the pipe, ensuring it is hand-tightened, then use a wrench for a final quarter-turn, being careful not to overtighten.
  3. Install the Handles:
    • Attach the hot and cold handle assemblies to their respective valve stems. The hot handle typically has a red indicator, and the cold handle a blue indicator.
    • Secure the handles with the provided screws.
    • Place the escutcheon plates over the handles and secure them to the wall.
  4. Install the Showerhead:
    • Apply pipe sealant or Teflon tape to the threads of the shower arm extending from the wall.
    • Thread the shower arm into the wall fitting and tighten.
    • Thread the showerhead onto the shower arm and tighten by hand.
    • Adjust the angle of the showerhead as desired.
  5. Test for Leaks: Slowly turn the main water supply back on. Check all connections for leaks. If leaks are present, tighten connections as necessary.
