4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

The camera is equipped with a 650mAh Lithium-polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the camera. A full charge provides approximately 60 minutes of usage.

  1. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the camera's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color once charging is complete.

4.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card

A Micro SD card (not included) is required to store photos and videos. The camera supports memory expansion up to 32GB.

  1. Open the Micro SD card slot cover on the camera.
  2. Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

4.3 Attaching the Selfie Stick

The included foldable selfie stick allows for versatile filming and photography angles.

  1. Attach the camera's waterproof case to the mounting screw on the selfie stick.
  2. Securely tighten the screw to prevent movement.
  3. Extend the selfie stick to your desired length.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the front or top) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To power off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

5.2 Recording Video

The camera records video at 1280 x 720p resolution with a 120-degree wide angle.

  1. Ensure the camera is in video recording mode (check the icon on the screen). If not, press the Mode button to switch.
  2. Press the OK/Record button to start recording. A red indicator light or on-screen icon will flash.
  3. Press the OK/Record button again to stop recording. The indicator will stop flashing.

5.3 Taking Photos

The camera captures still images at an effective fixed resolution of 12 Megapixels.

  1. Ensure the camera is in photo mode (check the icon on the screen). If not, press the Mode button to switch.
  2. Press the OK/Shutter button to take a photo. The screen may briefly flash.

5.4 Playback

To review your recorded videos and photos:

  1. Switch the camera to playback mode using the Mode button.
  2. Use the navigation buttons (Up/Down) to browse through your files.
  3. Press the OK button to play a video or view a photo in full screen.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
  • Waterproof Case: Regularly inspect the waterproof case for any cracks or damage to the seals before use in water. Clean the seals and ensure no debris is present.
