Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the Dust Bag
- The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a Dust Bag Full Indicator. When this indicator shows full, or when suction power decreases, it is time to empty the dust bag.
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Open the dust bag compartment cover.
- Carefully remove the dust bag. Dispose of the collected dust in a waste bin.
- Reinsert the empty dust bag, ensuring it is properly seated. Close the compartment cover securely.
Cleaning Filters
This vacuum cleaner uses a HEPA Filter. Filters should be checked regularly and cleaned or replaced as needed.
- Unplug the appliance.
- Locate the filter compartments (typically near the dust bag and at the exhaust).
- Remove the filters. Tap them gently over a dustbin to dislodge accumulated dirt. If washable, rinse under cool running water and allow to air dry completely before reinserting. Do not use detergents or hot water.
- Replace filters if they are heavily soiled or damaged.
General Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Check the hose and attachments for blockages periodically.
