5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  3. The BATTERY indicator light will illuminate, typically red, to show that the speaker is charging.
  4. Once fully charged, the BATTERY indicator light will change color (e.g., turn off or turn blue/green). A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

5.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on the speaker, rotate the VOL knob clockwise from the 'OFF' position. You may hear an audible tone.
  • To power off the speaker, rotate the VOL knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. The BT/AUX indicator light will flash, indicating it is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to the Bluetooth settings menu.
  3. Search for available devices. The speaker will appear as "SP613" or "Sylvania SP613".
  4. Select "SP613" to connect. Once successfully paired, the BT/AUX indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid blue, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

Note: If pairing fails, turn off the speaker and your device's Bluetooth, then repeat the steps. The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

6.2 Auxiliary Input (AUX IN)

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm auxiliary audio cable to the AUX IN port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the auxiliary audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output port of your external audio device.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, and the BT/AUX indicator light may change color or pattern to indicate AUX mode.
  4. Play audio from your external device. Adjust volume on both the speaker and your device.

6.3 Disco Light Operation

  • Press the LIGHT button to turn the disco ball lights on.
  • Press the LIGHT button again to turn the disco ball lights off.
  • The lights will project multi-colored patterns.

6.4 Volume Control

  • Rotate the VOL knob clockwise to increase the volume.
  • Rotate the VOL knob counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker's exterior with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
