5. Setup
5.1 Wiring Diagram
The module requires a DC 12V power supply. The load is connected to the relay contacts. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections to prevent short circuits or disconnections.

Figure 4: Two common wiring diagrams for the module. This image illustrates how to connect the power supply and the load to the timer relay.

Figure 5: Another detailed wiring diagram showing connections for VCC, GND, S1, and S0 terminals. VCC and GND are for module power, while S1 and S0 are relay contacts for the load.
- VCC: Connect to the positive (+) terminal of your DC 12V power supply.
- GND: Connect to the negative (-) terminal of your DC 12V power supply.
- S1 & S0: These are the relay contacts. Connect your load (e.g., light, water pump, engine) across these two terminals. The relay acts as a switch, opening or closing the circuit to the load based on the programmed timing.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Display Overview
The module features a dual LED display:
- PV (Process Value): Red display, shows the current countdown or elapsed time.
- SV (Set Value): Green display, shows the programmed time setting.
6.2 Setting Time Parameters
To set the time parameters (T1 for ON time, T2 for OFF time) and the time unit (seconds, minutes, hours):
- Press the SET button once. The PV (red) display will flash, indicating you can set the ON time (T1). Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the value.
- Press SET again. The SV (green) display will flash, indicating you can set the OFF time (T2). Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the value.
- Press SET a third time. The PV display will show 'P0', 'P1', or 'P2' (or similar, depending on the specific model's firmware) to select the time unit. Use UP and DOWN to cycle through:
- P0: Seconds (0-999s)
- P1: Minutes (0-999m)
- P2: Hours (0-999h)
- Press SET again to save the settings and exit.
6.3 Operating Modes
To select the operating mode:
- Press and hold the SET button for approximately 3 seconds until the PV display shows 'P1.X' (where X is the mode number).
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to cycle through the available modes (P1.0 to P1.6, or similar). Each mode defines a different timing behavior:
- P1.0 (Delay ON): After power-on, the relay remains OFF for T1 time, then turns ON indefinitely.
- P1.1 (Delay OFF): After power-on, the relay turns ON for T1 time, then turns OFF indefinitely.
- P1.2 (Cycle ON/OFF): After power-on, the relay turns ON for T1 time, then OFF for T2 time, and repeats this cycle indefinitely.
- P1.3 (Cycle OFF/ON): After power-on, the relay remains OFF for T1 time, then turns ON for T2 time, and repeats this cycle indefinitely.
- P1.4 (Single Delay ON): After power-on, the relay remains OFF for T1 time, then turns ON for T2 time, and then turns OFF indefinitely.
- P1.5 (Single Delay OFF): After power-on, the relay turns ON for T1 time, then turns OFF for T2 time, and then turns ON indefinitely.
- P1.6 (Trigger Delay ON): The relay is triggered by an external signal (not directly supported by this model's basic buttons, typically an external input pin), then turns ON for T1 time, then OFF indefinitely.
- Once the desired mode is selected, press the SET button to save and exit.

7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Icstation Time Delay Switch Module, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the module with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the module in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Inspection: Periodically check wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your module, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Module not powering on:
- Check the DC 12V power supply connection and ensure it is providing the correct voltage.
- Verify VCC and GND connections for correct polarity.
- Load not switching:
- Ensure the load is correctly wired to the S1 and S0 relay contacts.
- Check if the programmed timing parameters (T1, T2) and operating mode are set correctly.
- Verify that the load itself is functional and not drawing excessive current beyond the module's rating.
- Incorrect timing or erratic behavior:
- Double-check the time unit setting (seconds, minutes, hours).
- Ensure stable power supply. Fluctuations in voltage can affect performance.
- Reset the module by disconnecting and reconnecting power, then re-enter your desired settings.
