Operating Instructions

  1. Temperature Setting: Press the SET button. The LED will flash, allowing you to set the temperature using the SET(+) and C/F(-) buttons. After 3 seconds of inactivity, the module automatically saves the parameter and exits.
  2. Indicator Light: The indicator turns on when the relay is closed.
  3. Display Meanings:
    • LL: Sensor is in open circuit status.
    • HH: Temperature exceeds the module's measuring range.
    • --: Module is in high temperature protection status.

Controlling Refrigeration Equipment

  1. Press SET for 5 seconds to enter the setting manual.
  2. Press SET(+) or C/F(-) to switch between settings P0 to P8.
  3. To enter P0 setting, press SET and C/F simultaneously. Select "C" for the unit system by pressing both buttons again.
  4. Press SET. The blue number will flash. Use SET(+) and C/F(-) to set the desired stop cooling temperature. Wait for 3 seconds for automatic confirmation.
  5. Press SET for 5 seconds to re-enter the setting manual. Switch to P1 and press SET and C/F simultaneously to enter P1 setting. The number will flash.
  6. Set the return difference using SET(+) and C/F(-). Wait for 3 seconds to confirm the setting. Note: The maximum return difference is 30.

Example: Setting Cooling at 190°F and Turn Off at 160°F

  1. Enter P0 setting and choose "C" for the unit system.
  2. Press SET and set the stop cooling temperature to 160°F.
  3. Enter P1 and set it to 30 (representing the difference: 190°F - 160°F = 30). Note: The maximum return difference is 30.

Wiring Information

The controller can be wired in different configurations depending on the power source for the load.

Diagram 1: Shared Power Supply

This diagram illustrates the wiring where the 12V input powers both the temperature controller and the load. The load is connected directly to the relay output terminals.

Visual Description: A 12V input (+/-) connects to the controller. The controller's relay output terminals are then connected to a 'Load'.

Diagram 2: Separate Power Supplies

This diagram shows the 12V input powering only the temperature controller, while the load has its own separate power input. The load is connected to its own power source and controlled via the relay output terminals of the temperature controller.

Visual Description: A 12V input (+/-) connects to the controller. The controller's relay output terminals are connected to a 'Load equipment'. A separate 'The load power input' is shown connected to the load equipment.

Physical Dimensions and Installation

The module size is 48 x 29 x 32mm (1.89 x 1.14 x 1.26 inches). The recommended slotting size for installation is 46x26.5 mm (1.81x1.04 inches). The product is designed for easy installation, often achievable within 30 minutes.

Visual Description: The controller unit features a red and blue LED display, a SET button, and two adjustment buttons labeled C/F and (+/-). It has screw terminals for power input and relay output, and a connector for the waterproof NTC temperature sensor probe.
