Each camera requires both power and video connection. The system includes BNC cables for video and power splitter cables for power.
- Connect one end of the 1-to-4 power splitter cable to a camera power adapter.
- Connect the power input of each camera to one of the outputs of the power splitter cable.
- Connect one end of the BNC cable to the video output of the camera.
- Connect the other end of the BNC cable to a video input port on the back of the DVR. Repeat for all 8 cameras.

3.3 Network and Display Connection
To view your camera feeds and access remote features, connect the DVR to a display and your network.
- Connect the DVR to a monitor using an HDMI or VGA cable.
- Connect the DVR's Ethernet port to your router using an Ethernet cable.
- Plug in the DVR power adapter to an electrical outlet.

- Register an account and log in.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your DVR's monitor or enter the device ID manually to add your system.
- Once added, you can view live feeds and playback recordings from anywhere.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Live View and Playback
After successful setup, you can view live camera feeds on a connected monitor or through the mobile application. The DVR supports multiple recording modes, including continuous, scheduled, and motion-activated recording. Recorded footage can be played back directly from the DVR or remotely via the app.

4.2 Motion Detection and Alerts
The system features customizable motion detection. When motion is detected, the system can trigger recording and send instant alerts to your mobile device or email.
- Configure Detection Zones: Access the DVR settings to define specific areas within the camera's view where motion detection should be active. This helps reduce false alarms from irrelevant areas.
- Adjust Sensitivity: Modify the motion detection sensitivity to suit your environment and minimize unwanted alerts.
- Alert Settings: Set up email notifications or push notifications to your mobile app for immediate alerts upon motion detection.

4.3 Video Quality and Compression
The system supports 1080p and 720p video capture resolution. Advanced H.264+ video compression technology is utilized to optimize storage space while maintaining video quality.
- 1080p Full HD: Experience clear and detailed surveillance footage.
- H.264+ Compression: This technology significantly reduces file sizes, allowing for longer recording times on the 1TB hard drive.
- Digital WDR & DNR: Digital Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) enhance image clarity in challenging lighting conditions, such as strong backlighting or low light environments.

4.4 Night Vision
The cameras are equipped with infrared LEDs, providing up to 100ft of clear night vision, ensuring surveillance even in complete darkness.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your security system.
- Camera Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or water spots that may obstruct the view. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly check all cables for wear, damage, or loose connections. Secure or replace any compromised cables.
- Software Updates: Check the SANNCE website or app for firmware updates for your DVR. Keeping the software updated can improve performance and security.
- Hard Drive Management: Ensure the hard drive has sufficient space. Configure recording settings to overwrite old footage or manually back up important recordings.
- Environmental Protection: While cameras are waterproof (IP66 rated), ensure the DVR is kept in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your SANNCE security system.
- No Video Display:
Solution: Check all power connections to the DVR and cameras. Ensure the monitor is correctly connected to the DVR via HDMI or VGA and is set to the correct input source. Verify BNC cable connections are secure. - No Remote Access:
Solution: Ensure the DVR is connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable. Check your router's internet connection. Verify the SANNCE app is updated and the DVR is correctly added to your account. Restart both the DVR and your router. - Poor Image Quality:
Solution: Clean camera lenses. Ensure cameras are within their effective range and not facing direct strong light sources. Check cable integrity. Adjust camera settings for resolution and WDR/DNR if available. - Motion Detection Not Working or Too Many False Alarms:
Solution: Review motion detection settings in the DVR menu or app. Adjust sensitivity levels. Define or refine detection zones to exclude areas with frequent, irrelevant movement (e.g., trees swaying, traffic). - DVR Not Recording:
Solution: Check if the 1TB hard drive is properly installed and recognized by the DVR. Verify recording schedules and motion detection settings. Ensure the hard drive is not full; if it is, enable overwrite or back up and format the drive.
