3. Setup and Installation

- Insert the exhaust hose adapter into the opening of the window sealing plate. Ensure a tight seal to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
- Close the window securely against the sealing plate.
Note: For optimal performance, keep the exhaust hose as short and straight as possible. Avoid kinks or sharp bends.
3.4 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V/60Hz electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview
The control panel on the top of the unit allows you to manage all functions. It typically includes buttons for Power, Mode, Fan Speed, Temperature Up/Down, and Timer.

4.2 Basic Operation

5.1 Air Filter Cleaning
- The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Locate the air filter(s) on the back or side of the unit.

5.2 Water Drainage
The CL-PC8000 features a self-evaporative system, which typically exhausts most condensed water. However, in high humidity conditions, the internal water tank may fill up, and the unit will stop operating to prevent overflow. The display will show an error code (e.g., 'FL' for Full Water).
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port, located at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
