Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the rice cooker and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport if needed.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the inner pot, inner lid, steam cap, rice scoop, measuring cup, and Tacook cooking pan with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a dedicated 220V 50/60Hz electrical outlet. The LCD display will illuminate.
Operating Instructions
Basic Rice Cooking:
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice.
- Wash Rice: Wash the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Add Water: Place the washed rice into the inner pot. Add water up to the corresponding water level mark inside the pot for the type and quantity of rice.
- Place Inner Pot: Insert the inner pot into the main unit, ensuring it is properly seated. Close the outer lid securely.
- Select Menu: Press the "Menu" button to select the desired rice cooking program (e.g., "White Rice," "Brown Rice"). The selected program will be displayed on the LCD.
- Start Cooking: Press the "Start" button. The cooking indicator will light up, and the cooking time will be displayed.
- Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" mode.
Using the Tacook Cooking Pan:
The Tacook cooking pan allows you to cook a side dish simultaneously with your rice, utilizing the steam generated during rice cooking.
- Prepare rice and water in the inner pot as usual.
- Place ingredients for your side dish into the Tacook cooking pan.
- Carefully place the Tacook cooking pan on top of the rice in the inner pot.
- Close the outer lid and select the appropriate "Synchro-Cooking" menu option (refer to the Menu Book for specific recipes and settings).
- Press "Start."
Slow Cooking Function:
The slow cooking function is ideal for preparing soups, stews, and other dishes requiring long, gentle cooking.
- Place ingredients for slow cooking into the inner pot.
- Close the outer lid.
- Press the "Menu" button until "Slow Cook" is selected.
- Adjust the cooking time using the timer buttons if necessary.
- Press "Start."
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your rice cooker.
