2. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts, including the machine, Aeroccino3, water reservoir, and drip tray, are present and undamaged.
2. Placement: Place the machine on a clean, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access to the water reservoir and capsule container.
3. Water Reservoir:
   • Remove the 40 oz. water reservoir from the machine.
   • Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with fresh drinking water.
   • Fill the reservoir with fresh drinking water up to the MAX line.
   • Place the filled reservoir back onto the machine securely.

4. Initial Rinse Cycle:
   • Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet.
   • Place a large container (at least 17 oz) under the coffee outlet.
   • Press the brew button once. The machine will perform an automatic rinse cycle, flushing water through the system.
   • Discard the water from the container. The machine is now ready for use.

3. Operating Instructions

Brewing Coffee/Espresso:

1. Power On: Ensure the machine is plugged in and the water reservoir is filled. The machine will heat up in 15-20 seconds.
2. Open Head: Lift the lever to open the machine head.
3. Insert Capsule: Place a Nespresso Vertuo capsule into the machine, ensuring it is correctly aligned. The machine will automatically read the barcode on the capsule.
4. Close Head: Close the machine head by pushing the lever down until it locks.
5. Place Cup: Position your desired cup under the coffee outlet. The adjustable drip tray can be moved to accommodate different cup sizes.
6. Brew: Press the brew button once. The machine will automatically adjust brewing parameters (coffee size, temperature, pressure, brewing time) based on the capsule's barcode.
7. Enjoy: Your coffee or espresso will be dispensed. The machine will automatically eject the used capsule into the internal container after brewing.

Using the Aeroccino3 Milk Frother:

The Aeroccino3 is designed to create smooth hot or cold milk froth for your coffee recipes.

1. Fill Milk: Pour fresh, cold milk into the Aeroccino3 jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated inside the jug.
2. Attach Whisk: Ensure the correct whisk is attached to the bottom of the jug (different whisks may be provided for different froth types).
3. Hot Froth: Press the button once. The light will turn red, indicating hot frothing.
4. Cold Froth: Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds. The light will turn blue, indicating cold frothing.
5. Completion: The frother will automatically stop when the milk is frothed to the desired consistency and temperature.
6. Pour: Pour the frothed milk into your coffee.

Daily Cleaning:

• Water Reservoir: Empty and rinse the water reservoir daily. Refill with fresh drinking water.
