Setup
Follow these steps to set up your BOSS Acoustic Singer Pro ACS-PRO amplifier:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or storage.
- Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cord to the AC IN jack on the rear panel of the amplifier and then to a suitable AC outlet. The amplifier operates on a corded electric power source.
- Instrument Connection (Guitar): Connect your acoustic guitar to the GUITAR input jack using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Microphone Connection (Vocal): Connect your microphone to the MIC/MIX input jack using an XLR cable. If your microphone requires phantom power, ensure the PHANTOM power switch is set to ON.
- Auxiliary Input: For connecting external audio devices (e.g., music player), use the AUX INPUT jack.
- Foot Control: Connect an optional footswitch (e.g., BOSS FS-6, FS-7) to the FOOT CONTROL jacks for hands-free control of functions like harmony, looper, and effects.
