This tool is ideal for renovation projects, including vehicles and other equipment. It features a 1-liter reservoir for abrasive material and connects to an air compressor via a European/1/4 male quick connector.

Key features include:

  • 1-Liter Reservoir: Allows for cleaning large surfaces without frequent refilling. Easy to fill and empty.
  • Quick Connection: Equipped with a European/1/4 male quick connector for easy attachment to an air compressor.
  • High Air Flow: Operates with an air flow of 300 L/min for efficient work.
  • Versatile Application: Suitable for various materials including metal, stone, and concrete.

Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Read and understand all instructions before use. Failure to follow safety warnings and instructions may result in serious injury.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, respiratory protection (mask), hearing protection, and protective gloves.
  • Ensure the work area is well-ventilated and free from flammable materials.
  • Never point the sandblaster at people or animals.
  • Disconnect the air supply before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or when changing abrasive material.
  • Use only recommended abrasive materials for sandblasting.
  • Maintain a stable footing and balance during operation.

Setup

  1. Prepare the Work Area: Ensure the area is clean, well-lit, and adequately ventilated. Lay down protective coverings if necessary to contain abrasive material.
  2. Connect to Air Compressor: Attach the sandblaster's European/1/4 male quick connector to your air compressor's air hose. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leaks. The compressor should be capable of providing at least 300 L/min air flow and up to 8 bar pressure.
  3. Fill the Reservoir: Unscrew the reservoir from the sandblaster gun. Carefully fill the 1-liter reservoir with your chosen abrasive material (e.g., sand, glass beads, walnut shells). Do not overfill. Screw the reservoir back onto the gun securely.
  4. Check Air Pressure: Set your air compressor to the desired operating pressure, typically up to 8 bar (116 PSI) maximum.

Operating Instructions

  1. Wear PPE: Always wear safety glasses, a dust mask, hearing protection, and gloves before starting.
  2. Test on Scrap Material: Before working on your main project, test the sandblaster on a piece of scrap material to adjust air pressure and technique.
  3. Begin Sandblasting: Hold the sandblaster gun firmly, maintaining a consistent distance from the surface. Press the trigger to begin the abrasive flow. Move the gun in a steady, sweeping motion across the surface to ensure even material removal.
  4. Monitor Abrasive Level: Periodically check the abrasive level in the 1-liter reservoir. Refill as needed, ensuring the air supply is disconnected before refilling.
  5. Finish Work: Once the task is complete, release the trigger. Disconnect the air supply from the sandblaster.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sandblaster.

  • Clean the Reservoir: After each use, empty any remaining abrasive material from the 1-liter reservoir. Clean the interior to prevent clogging and contamination.
  • Inspect Nozzle: Check the nozzle for wear or damage. Replace if necessary to maintain efficient abrasive flow.
  • Check Air Connections: Regularly inspect all air connections for leaks or damage. Ensure quick connectors are clean and functioning correctly.
  • Storage: Store the sandblaster in a clean, dry place, away from dust and moisture.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No abrasive material exits the nozzle.
  • Insufficient air pressure.
  • Clogged nozzle or feed tube.
  • Empty abrasive reservoir.
  • Incorrect abrasive material or moisture in abrasive.
  • Ensure compressor provides adequate pressure (up to 8 bar) and air flow (300 L/min).
  • Disconnect air supply, then inspect and clear any blockages in the nozzle or feed tube.
  • Refill the 1-liter reservoir with dry, appropriate abrasive material.
  • Use only dry, recommended abrasive media.
Inconsistent abrasive flow.
  • Fluctuating air pressure.
  • Partial clog in the system.
  • Abrasive material is damp or clumping.
  • Check compressor for stable output.
  • Clean the nozzle and feed tube thoroughly.
  • Ensure abrasive material is completely dry before use.
