2. Safety Information
Operating a generator can be hazardous if safety precautions are not followed. Always prioritize safety to prevent accidents, injuries, or property damage.
- Read the Manual: Understand all instructions and warnings before use.
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Never operate the generator indoors or in enclosed spaces. Generators produce carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless, and deadly gas. Operate only in well-ventilated outdoor areas.
- Fire Hazard: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or allow open flames near the generator.
- Electrical Shock Hazard: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are secure and properly grounded.
- Hot Surfaces: The generator engine and muffler become very hot during operation and remain hot for some time after shutdown. Avoid contact to prevent burns.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the generator at all times.
- Proper Grounding: Always ensure the generator is properly grounded before operation.

4.3 Adding Oil and Fuel
Before first use, the generator requires engine oil and gasoline.
- Add Engine Oil: Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick. Add the recommended 4-stroke engine oil (e.g., 15W-40) to the crankcase until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
- Add Fuel: Ensure the engine is off and cool. Open the fuel tank cap and carefully fill the tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not fill above the maximum level indicator. Securely close the fuel cap.
Important: Never mix oil with gasoline. Use only clean, fresh gasoline.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Generator
- Place the generator on a level, outdoor surface, away from windows and doors.
- Ensure the fuel valve is in the 'ON' position.
- Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (for cold starts).
- Turn the engine switch to the 'ON' position.
- Firmly grasp the pull start handle and pull it quickly and smoothly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting any electrical loads.
5.2 Connecting Appliances
The generator is equipped with two 230V VDE sockets.
- Ensure the generator is running stably.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your generator.
6.1 Regular Checks
- Before each use, check the engine oil level and top up if necessary.
- Inspect the air filter for cleanliness.
- Check for any loose fasteners or damaged components.
6.2 Oil Change
Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 50-100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Refer to the engine manufacturer's recommendations for specific intervals.
6.3 Air Filter Cleaning
Clean the air filter every 50 hours of operation or more frequently in dusty conditions. Remove the air filter cover, take out the foam element, wash it in warm, soapy water, rinse, dry thoroughly, and re-oil lightly before reassembling.
6.4 Storage
For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor, or add a fuel stabilizer. Change the engine oil and clean the generator thoroughly. Store in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area.
