3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Mounting Options

The CSD-660FH can be mounted on either the windshield or the dashboard. Choose a location that does not obstruct the driver's view and allows for a clear recording angle of the road ahead.

• Windshield Mounting: Attach the mounting bracket to the upper part of the windshield, ideally behind the rearview mirror. Ensure the lens has an unobstructed view.

• Dashboard Mounting: For vehicles where windshield mounting is not ideal, the device can be placed on the dashboard using the provided bracket. Ensure it is securely fixed and does not interfere with airbags or other safety features.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cable to the drive recorder and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The device supports 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems.

3.3 microSD Card Insertion

Insert the included 16GB microSD card into the designated slot on the drive recorder. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. The device will not record without a microSD card.

• Normal Recording: Continuous recording that automatically overwrites the oldest files when the microSD card is full.
