Maintenance

Cleaning the Scanner

To ensure optimal scanning performance, keep the scanning window clean. Gently wipe the transparent tip with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

Battery Care

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the Scanmarker Air is powered on. Try restarting both the pen and your device. If using a Windows PC, ensure the Bluetooth dongle is properly inserted.
  • Inaccurate Scanning: Ensure the scanning tip is clean. Hold the pen at the recommended 60-degree angle and maintain a steady, even pace. Scan on flat, non-glossy surfaces for best results.
  • Text Not Appearing: Verify that the Scanmarker Air app is open and actively connected to the pen. Check if the input language in the app matches the language of the text being scanned.
