3.3 Adjusting Lamp Heads:

The two LED lamp heads are adjustable. Gently pivot and rotate each head to direct the light output to the desired egress path or area. Ensure the heads are securely positioned after adjustment.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the reliable operation of your emergency light.

4.1 Monthly Testing:

  • Perform a 30-second functional test by pressing the test button. Ensure both LED heads illuminate.
  • Verify that the charging indicator light (if present) is on when AC power is restored.

4.2 Annual Testing:

  • Disconnect AC power to the unit for a full 90-minute discharge test.
  • Ensure the LED heads remain illuminated for the entire 90-minute duration.
  • Reconnect AC power and verify the charging indicator light is on.

4.3 Cleaning:

Clean the exterior of the fixture and lamp heads periodically with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

4.4 Battery Replacement:

The NiCAD battery has a typical lifespan. If the unit fails to maintain a 90-minute discharge during annual testing, the battery may need replacement. Contact qualified service personnel for battery replacement.
