3. Setup

3.1 Power Connection

The CHKOSDA LED Wall Clock is powered by a corded electric connection. It comes with a 10-foot USB cable. Connect the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) and plug it into a standard wall outlet.

Note: A CR2032 coin cell battery (not included) can be installed to maintain time and settings during power outages or when the clock is unplugged. This battery does not power the display.

3.2 Mounting Options

The clock can be either wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop.

• Wall Mount: Use the two hanging holes on the back of the clock to securely mount it on a wall. Ensure appropriate wall anchors and screws are used for stability.
• Tabletop Placement: Utilize the integrated standback support for stable placement on any flat surface.

4. Operating Instructions

All clock functions are controlled via the included remote control. Ensure 2 AAA batteries are installed in the remote (batteries not included).

4.1 Time Setting

To set the time:

1. Press the "T SET" button on the remote. The hour digits will flash.
2. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the hour. You can also directly enter the hour using the number pad (0-9).
3. Press the "MODE" button to switch to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
4. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press the "MODE" button again to switch to second setting. The second digits will flash.
6. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the seconds.
7. Press the "RET" button to exit time setting mode.

The clock supports both 12-hour and 24-hour display modes. Press the "12/24" button on the remote to toggle between these modes.

4.2 Brightness Adjustment

The clock features 8 levels of adjustable brightness and an auto-dimmer function.

• Manual Adjustment: Use the "DIM" button on the remote to manually adjust brightness.
• Auto Dimmer: Press the "AUTO" button on the remote to enable the automatic dimmer, which adjusts brightness based on ambient light conditions.

4.3 Countdown and Count-up Timer

The clock supports both countdown and count-up timer functions, with countdowns up to 364 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.

• Setting Countdown:
  1. Press the "CD SET" button twice to enter countdown setting mode. The display will show "00:00".
  2. The "d" (days) digits will flash. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to set the desired number of days (up to 999). Press "MODE" to confirm and move to hours.
  3. The hour digits will flash. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to set the desired hours. Press "MODE" to confirm and move to minutes.
  4. The minute digits will flash. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to set the desired minutes. Press "MODE" to confirm and move to seconds.
  5. The second digits will flash. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to set the desired seconds. Press "MODE" to confirm.
  6. You can then choose if the countdown can be repeated ("on") or not ("--") using "UP" or "DOWN". Press "MODE" to confirm.
  7. Finally, set the number of seconds to be reminded before the countdown ends (e.g., 5 seconds). Use "UP" or "DOWN" to adjust.
  8. Press the Play/Pause button (►▮) to start the countdown.
  9. Press "RET" to exit countdown mode at any time.
• Setting Count-up:

  To use the count-up timer, press the "ST" (Stopwatch) button on the remote. The clock will start counting up from 00:00. Press the Play/Pause button (►▮) to pause/resume, and "RET" to reset.

1. Press the "C SET" button on the remote to enter calendar setting mode. The year digits will flash.

3. Press the "MODE" button to switch to month setting.
4. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the month.
5. Press the "MODE" button to switch to day setting.
6. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the day.
7. Press the "RET" button to exit calendar setting mode.
