Setup

1. Unpacking

• Remove all packaging materials from the machine and frother.
• Place the machine on a clean, stable, and level surface.
• Ensure the power cord is accessible and not pinched.

2. First Use & Rinsing

• Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water.
• Place a container (at least 0.5L) under the coffee outlet.
• Close the machine head and lock it by turning the lever left.
• Press the button three times within two seconds to start the rinsing cycle. The machine will run water through the system.
• Repeat this process for the Aeroccino3 by filling it with water and pressing the button to run a cycle.

Operation

Brewing Coffee or Espresso

1. Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
2. Turn on the machine by pressing the button. It will heat up in approximately 15-20 seconds. The light will turn steady green when ready.
3. Open the machine head by turning the lever to the right and lifting the head.
4. Insert a Nespresso Vertuo capsule into the capsule holder. The machine reads the barcode on the capsule to automatically adjust brewing parameters.
5. Close the machine head and lock it by turning the lever to the left.
6. Place an appropriate cup size under the coffee outlet. The machine brews five cup sizes: 1.35 oz Espresso, 2.7 oz Double Espresso, 5.0 oz Gran Lungo, and 7.7 oz Coffee.
7. Press the button to start brewing. The machine will automatically eject the used capsule into the container after brewing.

Aeroccino3 Milk Frother

Using the Aeroccino3

1. Ensure the frother is clean and dry.
2. Pour fresh, cold milk into the frother. Do not exceed the maximum fill line for frothing.
3. For hot froth, press the button briefly. The light will turn red.
4. For cold froth, press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds. The light will turn blue.
5. The frother will automatically stop when the milk is frothed to the desired consistency.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Machine

• Water Tank: Empty and rinse the water tank regularly. Refill with fresh water daily.
• Drip Tray & Capsule Container: Empty and clean the drip tray and used capsule container daily. Wash with warm water and mild detergent.
• Machine Exterior: Wipe the machine exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the machine in water.

Cleaning the Aeroccino3

• After each use, immediately rinse the inside of the frother and the whisk with water.
• The frother is not dishwasher safe. Clean the interior with a non-abrasive sponge and warm water.

Descaling

• Descale your machine regularly, especially in areas with hard water, to ensure optimal performance and coffee quality. Refer to the full user manual for detailed descaling instructions.
