Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the side of the headlight unit.
2. Open the battery compartment by sliding the latch or twisting the cap as indicated on the unit. Refer to Figure 2 for a visual guide on battery replacement.
3. Insert three (3) AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as marked inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment securely to ensure water resistance.

2. Adjusting the Headband

The headlight comes with an adjustable elastic headband for a comfortable and secure fit.

1. Place the headlight on your head, positioning the light unit at the front.
2. Use the adjustable buckle on the headband to tighten or loosen the strap until it fits snugly and comfortably without being too tight.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

To turn the headlight ON, press the yellow power button located on the top of the unit (refer to Figure 4). To turn the headlight OFF, cycle through the modes until the light turns off, or press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

2. Changing Light Modes

The headlight features two distinct light modes:

• High Mode: Provides 210 lumens for maximum brightness and visibility.
• Energy Saver Mode: Provides 50 lumens for extended battery life.

To switch between modes, press the power button repeatedly. Each press will cycle to the next mode.

3. Adjusting Beam Angle

The headlight unit can be pivoted up or down to direct the light beam precisely where needed. Gently tilt the light unit to adjust its angle.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To clean the headlight, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or lens. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed before cleaning.

2. Battery Replacement

When the light output diminishes, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section. Always replace all three AAA batteries at the same time with new, fresh alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

3. Storage

If the headlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the unit.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the proper polarity.
  • Ensure the batteries are fresh and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Verify the battery compartment is fully closed.
• Light is dim or flickers:
  • Batteries may be low. Replace all three AAA batteries with new ones.
• Headband is uncomfortable or slips:
  • Adjust the headband using the buckle for a snugger fit.
