Setup

1. Battery Installation

The HS510C uses a CR2032 battery. Ensure the battery is correctly inserted into the battery tray with the positive (+) side facing up. The Solar Failsafe feature provides a backup power source, but a fresh battery ensures optimal performance.

2. Mounting the Sight

The HS510C comes with a Quick Detach (QD) absolute co-witness mount (1.41" dot height) for easy attachment to any 1913 Picatinny rail system. To mount, open the QD lever, place the sight onto the rail, and close the lever firmly until it locks into place. Ensure the sight is securely fastened before use.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

2. Brightness Adjustment

The HS510C features 12 brightness settings: 10 for daylight and 2 for night vision compatibility. Use the '+' button to increase brightness and the '-' button to decrease brightness.

3. Multi-Reticle System (MRS)

The MRS allows you to select between three reticle options: a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, or both combined (2 MOA dot & 65 MOA circle). To cycle through the reticle options, press and hold the '-' button for 3 seconds.

4. Solar Failsafe

This technology provides a backup power source when natural or artificial light is available. In Auto Mode, reticle intensity automatically adjusts based on ambient light. In brighter conditions, the reticle is brighter; in lower-light conditions, it dims to match. This extends battery life and ensures functionality even if the battery fails.

5. Shake Awake Technology

Shake Awake extends battery life by deactivating the optic's LED when not in use. The slightest movement instantly reactivates the LED. Settings can be adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 hours, or deactivated entirely.

6. Windage and Elevation Adjustment

Windage and elevation adjustments are made using the included tool. Each click adjusts the point of impact by 0.5 MOA. The total adjustment range is ±50 MOA.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Use the provided microfiber cloth to clean the lenses and housing. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the optic's coatings or finish.

2. Battery Replacement

When the reticle dims or fails to illuminate, replace the CR2032 battery. The battery tray is located on the side of the optic. Use a small flathead screwdriver or the edge of the adjustment tool to open the tray, replace the battery, and securely close the tray.
