4. Setup
Battery Installation
- Ensure the impact wrench is turned off and the forward/reverse switch is in the center (locked) position.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the bottom of the tool.
- Slide the battery pack into the tool until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated.
- To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out of the tool.
Socket Installation
- Ensure the impact wrench is turned off.
- Align the square drive of the desired 3/8-inch socket with the anvil on the impact wrench.
- Push the socket firmly onto the anvil until it locks into place. A detent pin or hog ring mechanism will secure the socket.
- To remove, pull the socket firmly off the anvil.
5. Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To turn the tool on, squeeze the variable-speed trigger. The LED work light will illuminate.
- To turn the tool off, release the variable-speed trigger.
Forward/Reverse Operation
- The forward/reverse switch is located above the trigger.
- Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (tightening).
- Push the switch to the right for reverse rotation (loosening).
- For safety, place the switch in the center position to lock the trigger and prevent accidental startup.
Variable Speed Control
- The tool's speed is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger.
- Squeeze the trigger gently for lower speeds and increased control.
