4. Setup

4.1. Installing the MicroSD Card

1. Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the dash cam.
2. Insert the provided 4GB MicroSD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.
3. If prompted, format the MicroSD card via the dash cam's menu settings for optimal performance.

4.2. Mounting the Dash Cam

1. Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash cam. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
2. Attach the suction cup mount to the dash cam.
3. Press the suction cup firmly against the cleaned windshield area and engage the locking mechanism to secure it.
4. Adjust the angle of the dash cam to ensure a clear view of the road, avoiding obstruction from the rearview mirror or other vehicle components.

4.3. Power Connection

1. Connect the USB cable to the dash cam's power input port.
2. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.

5. Operating

5.1. Turning On/Off

• The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on.
• To manually turn on/off, press and hold the Power button located on the side of the device.

5.2. Recording

• Continuous Loop Recording: The dash cam records continuously in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten.
• G-Sensor Activated Recording: In the event of a sudden impact or emergency braking, the G-Sensor will trigger and automatically lock the current video segment, protecting it from being overwritten.

5.3. Display and Settings

• Use the buttons next to the 2.4" LCD screen to navigate through the menu and adjust settings such as video resolution, loop recording duration, G-sensor sensitivity, and time/date.
• Ensure the correct time and date are set for accurate timestamping of recordings.

5.4. Microphone

• The built-in microphone records audio inside the vehicle. You can enable or disable the microphone via the dash cam's settings menu.
