Setup
Powering the Unit:

- Battery Power: For portable use, the unit can be powered by 8 "C" size batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
Initial Power On:
Press the POWER button to turn on the boombox. The display will illuminate.
Operating Instructions
Mode Selection:
Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available functions: DVD/CD, Bluetooth, AM/FM Radio, USB, SD, and AUX Input.
DVD/CD Playback:
- Ensure the unit is in DVD/CD mode.
- Open the disc compartment cover.
- Carefully place a DVD or CD disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the disc compartment cover. The unit will automatically begin reading the disc.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and MENU buttons on the unit or remote control to manage playback.
Bluetooth Pairing and Playback:
- Switch the boombox to Bluetooth mode. The display will indicate "Bluetooth" or a similar pairing message.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "NDL-256" (or similar Naxa model name) from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly from your device to the boombox.
- Adjust volume on both the boombox and your connected device.
AM/FM Radio Operation:
- Switch the boombox to AM/FM Radio mode.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM, rotate the unit for best signal.
- Use the TUNE buttons (or similar) to manually or automatically scan for radio stations.
- The current frequency will be displayed on the screen.
USB/SD Card Playback:
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD/SDHC memory card into the SD card slot.
- Switch the boombox to USB or SD mode, respectively.
- The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio (MP3) or video files.
- Use the playback controls to navigate through files and folders.
AUX Input:
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX input using an audio cable (not included, unless specified in package contents).
- Switch the boombox to AUX mode.
- Audio from the connected device will now play through the boombox speakers. Control playback from the external device.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the LCD screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics screens.
- Disc Care: Handle discs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches. Store discs in their cases when not in use.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the boombox in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if using battery power.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.
