Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Karaoke USA GF845 Complete Karaoke System. This system features a 7-inch color display, LED lights, and supports various media formats including DVD, CD+G, MP3+G, USB, and Bluetooth audio streaming. It is designed for home entertainment and offers recording capabilities to a USB flash drive.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Component Check

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that the following items are included:

  • Karaoke USA GF845 Karaoke System Unit
  • User Manual (this document)
  • 2 Microphones
  • Power Adaptor (AC/DC Adaptor)
  • Remote Control
  • Demo Disc with 300 songs
  • Universal Cradle for smart devices

2. Power Connection

Connect the provided AC/DC power adaptor to the DC 12V input port located on the rear panel of the unit. Plug the other end of the adaptor into a standard 127 Volt AC wall outlet.

3. Microphone Connection

Insert the microphone cables into the MIC 1 and MIC 2 input jacks located on the front panel of the unit.

4. External Device Connection (Optional)

  • RCA Audio/Video Output: To display lyrics and video on an external screen, connect an RCA cable from the VIDEO OUT and AUDIO OUT ports on the rear panel to the corresponding input ports on your television or monitor. An adapter may be required for modern TVs without composite inputs.
  • USB Charger: A dedicated USB charger port is available on the rear panel for charging smart devices.
  • Universal Cradle: Place your smartphone, tablet, or MP3 player in the universal cradle on top of the unit for convenient access during Bluetooth or auxiliary playback.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the POWER ON button located on the top control panel to turn the unit on or off.

2. Media Playback

The GF845 supports playback from various sources:

  • CD/CD+G/DVD: Open the disc tray by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button. Insert a disc with the label side facing up and close the tray. The system will automatically detect the disc type and begin playback.
  • USB/MP3+G: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3+G files into the DATA USB port. Use the FUNCTION button to select USB mode.
  • Bluetooth: Press the FUNCTION button to select Bluetooth mode. On your smart device, search for "Karaoke USA" and pair with the system. Audio will stream wirelessly. Note that lyrics for Bluetooth audio will display on your smart device, not the system's screen.

3. Microphone and Audio Controls

Adjust the following knobs on the top control panel for optimal sound:

  • MIC 1 VOL / MIC 2 VOL: Adjusts the volume for each microphone.
  • TONE: Controls the tonal quality of the microphone sound.
  • ECHO: Adds an echo effect to the microphone vocals.
  • BALANCE: Adjusts the balance between the vocal track and the music on multiplex recordings.
  • MASTER VOL: Controls the overall system volume.
  • KEY: Adjusts the musical key of the song to match your vocal range.

4. Recording Your Performance

To record your voice and music to a USB flash drive:

  1. Ensure a USB flash drive is inserted into the DATA USB port.
  2. Begin playing your desired music.
  3. Press the RECORD button (refer to the unit's front panel or remote for exact location).
  4. Sing into the microphone.
  5. Press the STOP button to end recording.
  6. Recordings can be played back instantly from the USB drive.

5. LED Lights

The system features integrated LED lights that synchronize with the rhythm of the music. These lights activate automatically during playback to enhance the karaoke experience.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish. Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

2. Storage

When not in use, store the karaoke system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep microphones and cables neatly organized to prevent damage.
