- Cleaning: Wipe down carbon fibre legs and metal parts with a soft, damp cloth after use, especially if exposed to dirt, sand, or saltwater. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Lubrication: Periodically check leg locks and moving parts for smooth operation. Do not over-lubricate; consult SIRUI support if lubrication is required.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying bag in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect all screws, bolts, and locking mechanisms to ensure they are tight and functioning correctly.
6. Troubleshooting
- Tripod Instability:
- Ensure all leg sections are fully extended and their locking collars are tightened.
- Verify that leg angle locks are securely engaged.
- Check that the mounting plate or half bowl adapter is firmly secured.
- Consider hanging a weight from the stabilizing hook for added stability.
- Leg Sections Not Extending/Retracting Smoothly:
- Clean the leg sections to remove any dirt or debris that may be obstructing movement.
