3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Tank Batteries: Each tank requires one rechargeable battery. Connect the rechargeable battery to the provided USB charger. Plug the USB charger into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (typically red for charging, off/green for fully charged). Allow approximately 4-5 hours for a full charge. Once charged, open the battery compartment on the underside of the tank using the small screwdriver, insert the charged battery, and close the compartment securely.
  2. Remote Controller Batteries: Each remote controller requires two AA batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back of each remote controller. Insert the AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

3.2. Pairing the Tanks and Remotes

The tanks and remotes use 2.4GHz technology for interference-free operation.

  1. Ensure both tanks and remote controllers have fresh or fully charged batteries.
  2. Turn on the power switch on the first tank. The tank's lights may flash.
  3. Turn on the first remote controller. Press the 2.4G START button (often located in the center or top of the remote). The remote and tank should pair automatically, indicated by a solid light on the tank and/or remote.
  4. Repeat the process for the second tank and its corresponding remote controller. Ensure each tank is paired with its own remote to avoid interference during battle.

  • Turn Right: Push the left joystick forward while keeping the right joystick neutral or pulling it backward.
  • Spin: Push one joystick forward and the other backward to spin the tank in place.

4.2. Turret Control and Firing

The tank's turret offers dynamic movement and firing capabilities:

  • Turret Rotation: Use the dedicated buttons on the remote (e.g., 'Turret Left Turn', 'Turret Right Turn') to rotate the tank's turret up to 300 degrees.
  • Cannon Tilt: The cannon can be manually adjusted up and down for aiming.
  • Firing: Press the 'FIRE!' button on the remote to simulate a cannon blast. The tank will emit realistic firing sounds and lights.

4.3. Infrared Combat System

Engage in exciting battles with the integrated infrared combat system:

  • Each tank is equipped with infrared emitters and receivers.
  • When you fire your cannon, an infrared signal is sent.
  • If an opponent's tank is hit by your infrared signal, one of their four LED life indicators on the rear of the tank will turn off.
  • The first tank to lose all four life indicators is defeated and will temporarily cease to function, signaling the end of the round.
