3. Setup & Installation

3.1 Handle Adjustment

The handle of the LuvLap Car Seat has four positions, allowing it to be used as an Infant Car Seat, Carry Cot, Rocker, and Feeding Chair.

1. To rotate the handle, press the red buttons located on both sides of the handle simultaneously.
2. Rotate the handle to the desired position until you hear a "click" sound, indicating it is securely locked.

3.2 Headrest Adjustment

The headrest can be adjusted to four different positions to accommodate your baby's height, ensuring optimal comfort and safety.

3.3 Car Seat Installation (Rearward Facing)

This car seat is designed to be installed rearward-facing for infants from birth up to 15 months (0-13 Kgs). Do not install the car seat in the front seat of the vehicle.

1. Place the car seat, with your child secured in it, in a rearward-facing position on the backseat of your car.
2. Pull out the vehicle's safety belt in the reverse direction on either side of the car seat.
3. Fasten the vehicle safety belts onto the safety guiding hook on either side of the car seat.
4. Slide the vehicle belt through the safety guiding hook on both sides of the car seat.
5. Fasten the vehicle safety belts properly, ensuring no part of the belt has any twists.
6. Pull the vehicle shoulder belt to the back of the LuvLap Car Seat.
7. Thread the shoulder belt to the belt guiding hook near the vehicle's side belt.
8. Tighten the vehicle safety belt to ensure the car seat is securely installed.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Securing Your Child

1. Place your child on the car seat, ensuring they are comfortably positioned against the breathable fabric.
2. Adjust the headrest to the appropriate height for your child.
3. Fasten the 5-point safety harness. Ensure the shoulder straps are snug and the buckle is securely clicked into place.
4. Use the one-pull adjustment strap to tighten or loosen the harness as needed, ensuring a secure fit without being too tight.

4.2 Using as a Carry Cot

Adjust the handle to the upright position for easy carrying. Ensure the handle is locked into place before lifting.

4.3 Using as a Rocker

Adjust the handle to the lowest position, allowing the curved base of the car seat to function as a rocker. Ensure the handle is securely locked.

4.4 Using as a Feeding Chair

Adjust the handle to a stable, upright position that allows the car seat to sit firmly on a flat surface, providing a comfortable feeding position.

5. Maintenance

The car seat features an easily removable and washable cover. Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain hygiene and extend the product's lifespan.

• Remove the fabric cover from the car seat frame.
• Wash the cover according to the care instructions label (typically gentle cycle with mild detergent).
• Allow the cover to air dry completely before reattaching it to the car seat frame.
• Wipe down the plastic parts of the car seat with a damp cloth and mild soap.

• Harness not tightening: Ensure the harness straps are not twisted and are routed correctly through the slots. Check for any obstructions in the one-pull adjustment mechanism.

• Handle not locking: Ensure the red buttons on both sides of the handle are fully depressed and the handle is rotated until a distinct "click" sound is heard, indicating it is locked into position.
