Setup Instructions

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all lamp components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in 'What's in the Box' are present.
2. Attach Harp: Secure the harp (the metal frame that holds the shade) to the saddle located above the lamp base.
3. Install Bulb: Screw a compatible E26 base bulb (max 150 watts, not included) into the lamp socket.
4. Place Shade: Position the white drum shade onto the harp.
5. Secure Finial: Screw the finial onto the top of the harp to secure the shade in place.
6. Connect to Power: Plug the 7-foot clear power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Lamp Operation

The lamp features an on-off socket switch. To turn the lamp on or off, simply rotate the switch located on the lamp socket. This lamp provides a single level of illumination.

USB Charging Port

Each lamp is equipped with a built-in USB charging port (Type 2A, 2 amps) located on the base. This port allows for convenient charging of smartphones, tablets, and other compatible electronic devices.

1. Ensure the lamp is plugged into a live electrical outlet.
2. Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB port on the lamp base.
3. Your device should begin charging automatically.

Optimal Lamp Placement and Height

Proper lamp placement is crucial for effective lighting and to prevent direct light from shining into your eyes. Consider the 'eye level rule' when positioning your table lamps.

• When sitting on a sofa or chair: The bottom of the lamp shade should align with your eye level. This ensures the light illuminates your reading or activity area without causing glare.
• When sitting in bed: The bottom of the lamp shade should align approximately with your chin level. This provides comfortable lighting for reading or other bedside activities.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Dust the lamp base and shade regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks on the metal base, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes.
• Bulb Replacement: Always ensure the lamp is unplugged before replacing the light bulb. Allow the old bulb to cool completely before removal.
• Cord Care: Avoid placing heavy objects on the power cord or bending it sharply. Keep the cord away from heat sources and sharp edges.
