Installation Instructions

Follow these steps to install the new lid knob on your Swan slow cooker glass lid:

1. Prepare the Lid: Ensure the slow cooker lid is clean and dry. If replacing an old knob, carefully remove the existing knob and any remaining hardware.
2. Position the Safety Skirt: Place the safety skirt on the underside of the glass lid, aligning its central hole with the fixing hole in the lid. The skirt acts as a protective barrier between the screw and the glass.
3. Position the Knob: Place the new black lid knob on the top side of the glass lid, aligning its central hole with the fixing hole and the safety skirt below.
4. Secure with Screw: Insert the provided fixing screw through the knob, then through the glass lid, and finally into the safety skirt. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screw until the knob is firmly attached to the lid. Do not overtighten, as this may damage the glass.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity of your lid knob:

• Clean the knob with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Periodically check the screw for tightness. If it becomes loose, gently retighten it.
• The knob is heat-resistant, but avoid exposing it to direct flame or extreme temperatures beyond normal slow cooker operation.
