- Placement: Choose a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and drafts. Ensure the location can support the weight of the filled aquarium (approximately 130 lbs).
- Rinse Components: Thoroughly rinse the aquarium, filter media, and any decorations with fresh water. Do not use soap or detergents.
- Install Filter Media:
- Mechanical Filtration (Foam): Place the foam filter block into the designated compartment in the rear filtration area.
- Chemical Filtration (Activated Carbon): Remove the protective plastic bag and rinse the carbon insert thoroughly. Place it into the top section of the foam block. Replace every 2-4 weeks.
- Biological Filtration (BioMax): Remove the protective plastic bag and rinse the BioMax insert thoroughly. Place it into the bottom section of the foam filter block. Replace every 2-3 months.

- Add Substrate and Decorations: Add your chosen substrate (sand or gravel) and any decorations. Ensure decorations are aquarium-safe and do not have sharp edges.
