4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

1. Place the charging base on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet.
2. Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Ensure the vacuum unit is switched off. Place the handheld vacuum onto the charging base. The indicator light on the vacuum will illuminate to show it is charging.
4. Allow approximately 6 hours for a full charge. The indicator light may change or turn off when fully charged (refer to specific model indicator behavior).

4.2 Attaching Accessories

The QuickFlip Crevice Tool is integrated into the unit. For other accessories:

• Stair & Upholstery Tool: Align the powered turbo tool with the vacuum's nozzle and push firmly until it clicks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Turning On/Off

To turn the vacuum on, slide the power switch located on the handle to the 'ON' position. To turn it off, slide the switch back to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Using the QuickFlip Crevice Tool

The QuickFlip crevice tool is stored directly on the unit. To use it, simply flip the tool out from its storage position until it locks into place. This allows you to reach into tight spaces, corners, and crevices effectively. To retract, push the tool back into its storage position.

5.3 Using the Stair & Upholstery Tool

Attach the powered turbo tool as described in Section 4.2. This tool is designed for effective cleaning of stairs, upholstery, and pet hair from fabric surfaces. Move the tool slowly over the surface to allow the rotating brush to agitate and lift debris.

5.4 Emptying the Dirt Cup

1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
2. Locate the dirt cup release button, typically near the nozzle. Press the button to detach the dirt cup from the main unit.
3. Hold the dirt cup over a trash receptacle. Remove the filter assembly from the dirt cup and shake out any accumulated dirt and debris.
4. Reinsert the filter assembly into the dirt cup, ensuring it is properly seated.
5. Reattach the dirt cup to the main vacuum unit, pushing until it clicks securely into place.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Filter

Regular filter cleaning is essential for maintaining optimal suction performance. The vacuum uses a cloth filter (Model F-101, Item Number 440009116).

1. Remove the dirt cup and filter assembly as described in Section 5.4.
2. Gently tap the filter over a trash can to remove loose dirt.
