Operating Instructions
Placement
Place the EMDMAK Door Stop Alarm on the floor behind any inward-opening door. Ensure the rubberized bottom is firmly against the floor and the metal plate is positioned to be pressed down by the door if it opens.

Sensitivity Adjustment
The alarm features a sensitivity switch with three settings: High (H), Medium (M), and Low (L). Adjust the switch according to your preference and the environment. Higher sensitivity will trigger the alarm with less pressure/movement from the door.

Troubleshooting
If your EMDMAK Door Stop Alarm is not functioning as expected, consider the following:
- Alarm not sounding: Check if the unit is switched to 'ON'. Ensure the 9V battery is correctly installed and has sufficient power. Replace the battery if necessary.
- Alarm too sensitive/not sensitive enough: Adjust the sensitivity switch (H/M/L) on the side of the unit to match your desired level of detection.
- Unit sliding on floor: Ensure the rubberized bottom is clean and free of debris. The non-skid pad is designed to provide firm grip on various floor types including wood, marble, carpet, and tiles.
